Horoscope is not everything in life....
Strange as it may seem coming out of the mouth of an enthusiast of astrology, but horoscope is not everything in life.
I am writing this article because many people ask me that if everything in their life is fixed by their horoscopes then whats the point of trying for things that they are not destined to get. here is my answer to that -
There are 3 forces at work in your life - Horoscope, Power of hardwork and Power of Puja (Spirituality). If your stars do not favor you, you can defintely use the other 2 forces to counter that. If you work hard and you do Puja with sincerity then it really doesnt matter whether your stars are in your favor or not. Another thing is being a karma yogi. Doing your duties religiously is as good as Puja. If a person discharges his duties well and with utmost sincerity not expecting anything in return (Nishkaam Karma) then he/she is doing the greates Puja that someone has ever done. So even just doing Puja is not enough. One should do hardwork, only then God is going to reward you. So a person should not consider only stars, only Puja or only hardork in isolation alone. One should try to do alot of hardwork and Puja, and then noone can stop a person from being successful. Astrology can give you a sense of direction, a ray of hope that good times will come and a reason to work hard when bad times are around.
If stars are against you that doesnt mean you wont achieve success. It only means that if you would normally get 100% result normally, due to stars being against you, you would get 60-70% result. So that means rather than getting disheartened and trying to search success in stars one should work harder and do alot of Puja. To get success one should work 130%-140% to get the same result of 100%.

In this post I will tell you whatever I know about Kendradhipati Dosha and the logic behind it.
1st, 4th, 7th and 10th houses are called the Kendras. Kendras are like the doors to our life. Imagine a kind-hearted watchman sitting on a door. Any bad entity can easily fool a kind-hearted watchman and get access through the door.

A hypothesis for the basis of Astrology....
Moon causes tides on earth. It influences water. Human body is 75% water. So why wont changes in moon alter human body...this is one thing
Whales migrate from one part of earth to another and they are guided by the electromagnetic waves emmitted by Sun. When there is an electromagnetic storm on Sun, the whale loose their track. Whales are mammals and so are we. This shows that waves from Sun change the orientation of mind in whales. So waves from stars and those reflected from planets would be influencing the neuron patterns in our mind.
I dont know for sure but there is research going on the changes in human mind when a person is exposed to the rays of same wavelength as that emmitted by various planets.

How to use a house relative to a house....
It simple -
Comsider the house you want to analyze as the Lagna Huse and see its various features the same way. Take an illustration -
Take 7th house. Now 7th house is the house of the spouse. 2nd from 7th house is the 8th house. 2nd from 7th house is the house of wealth and speech for the spouse. Similarly 4th from 7th house i.e. your 10th house is the house of hapiness for the spouse. And so on and so forth.
Another illustration -
Consider 4th house which is the house of Mother. Now 8th from 4th house i.e. your 11th house is the house of age for mother. 6th from 4th house i.e. your 9th house is the house of diseases for mother.

Something about the 12 houses....
In this post I would tell you about the functionalities of the 12 houses. Before I do I shall break up my discussion on varius houses in various posts. Lets discuss important houses first. So here I go -
1st house - Lagna Sthaan. It pertains to life in general, physical health, quality of life. A good 1st house and a good Lord of 1st house (Lagna Lord or Lagnesh) is good for a person. Placement of Lagnesh is important. If lagnesh is placed in good places like the Kendras (1st, 4th, 7th and 10th houses) it is good for a person. Trikonas (5th and 9th house) is also auspicious. 6th, 8th and 12th house are called Dusthanas. Placement of Lagnesh in these houses is bad. But then again remember Lagnesh is entrusted with the job of taking care of an individual. No matter how bad a Lagnesh is or its ill-placed, it would try to do good for the individual. The extent of its good will vary.
2nd house - Dhana Sthaan - Takes care of Money, Wealth, ancestral inheritance, Ghar or Kutumb. Always remember 2nd houe from any house contributes to that house. so Dhana Sthaan is 2nd from 1st house so it contributes to the life of an individual and is good for the individual.
Another area pertaining to 2nd house is that it is responsible for speech. Mangal being bad in 2nd house can lead to afflictions like oral or mouth cancer. A person with good 2nd house can be good in speaking.
Karaka Grah best for 2nd house would be Jupiter (Brihaspati). Jupiter is the Karaka for money. There fore an individual with Jupiter in second house.
2nd and 7th house are also Maarak sthaans. I mean Lord of 2nd and 7th house would be Maraks for an individual. Death-causing planets are lords of 7th and 2nd houses.
7th House - Some people say its the second most important house in the hrosocope of an individual. Thats why its 180 degrees opposite to the first house. 7th house pertains to spouse, partnership (in business etc), promotions mainly. Lord of 7th house is also considered "Prabal Marakesh". Death causing planet. &th house is also responsible for promotions. A person with good 7th or say too many planets placed well in 7th house would make sure he/she has an eventful professioanl life with good elevations.
